About you
You enjoy your own space, watching TV, and visiting the local shops for a cup of coffee and a bight to eat. This is a quiet and relaxing home with plenty of living space, suitable for someone who likes their own personal space. Your housemates are quiet, enjoy gardening, cooking (spicy foods in particular) and getting crafty with woodworks. You like to participate in community activities a few times a week and look forward to spending quality time with housemates in the evenings and on weekends. What is SIL?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is help with and/or supervision of daily tasks to develop the skills of an individual to live as independently as possible. These are the supports provided to a participant in their home, regardless of property ownership, and can be in a shared or individual arrangement.
Assistance provided to a participant will be included as part of their plan depending on the level of support they require to live independently in the housing option of their choice.
