With on-site clinicians and a full day-program, you will be able to take part in activities, access the community, or simply enjoy some time away, supported by our friendly and experienced Aged Care team.
Who is aged care respite for?
Civic’s Cottage Respite service is for those who need help every day, but whose carer needs time away to attend an appointment, go on holiday, or for other reasons. Emergency respite can be booked in the event a carer is unwell or otherwise unable to support you. In these instances, our accommodation is available to provide the short-term care and support you need.

How to access aged care cottage respite
To access Civic’s Cottage Respite, you will need to arrange an assessment through My Aged Care which can be conducted over the phone. Providing eligibility for cottage respite.
Respite Care Costs
Costs vary depending on whether you are eligible for government funding or paying privately.
Dependent on the length of your stay, you will be provided with an individual quote for the duration of your respite.
